A Visit Down South

We took a quick trip to Monticello- just for fun. On our way into town, we stopped by to see Granny and visit with her for a little while. (Sorry- I forgot my camera) We also went by to see Uncle Lee and Gramps as they were finishing a day of work. WP was quick to get out a notepad and pen....he may be a business man in training! Seeing Gramps is fun, but not near as fun as the jar of jellybeans he keeps in his office....
We met Aunt Mel and cousin Kel for lunch...
and headed to the park for a little outdoor fun. AK loved the swings and Kel loved pushing her- she would giggle every time he would push her.

Heading down the huge red tunnel slide....

AK even found some flowers to stop and pick along our way.
After school was out, we had a little playdate at Gramps and Gran Bet's house. Thankfully we had taken O's bike. Her cousins gave her the baby carrier that is on the back of her bike. She had put a little stuffed turtle in the seat with a blanket over it, so the turtle wouldn't get cold.
Happy St. Patrick's Day!!
These two wore their green well.
(Notice the turtle in the smocked dress....ha!)
We had a great time playing with the cousins- but there is never enough time.....
