Texas Friends

Next on our agenda was to stop and visit our special friends that live in Texas (not to mention they are some of our most favorite people)! When we got there we were so excited....it had been such a long time since seeing them. We walked in the door and this is what greeted us!Mary Katherine had a wonderful meal of salad, chicken pasta with sundried tomatoes and dessert. The kids enjoyed their own italian meal- pizza. I just stripped the babies down and let them go for it!Zac was such a great host and showed O all of the riding toys.....and took her for a ride! They even got stuck in the mud. This girly girl loved it!

(Note the dog....the babies were terrified of this dog! It is the sweetest, most gentle dog, but they didn't notice. They spent most of their time climbing on me in fear!!) Before we knew it, it was bedtime and we had a genuine sleepover!!The babies had fun learning "when in Texas, do as the Texans......go cowboy"

AK is quite the cowgirl, isn't she??The next morning, we all went to have lunch at a neat tearoom- and, yes, we were the main attraction with all these kids! They even had lots of homemade cookies and the kids chose one.
These two were having quite a discussion during our lunch....wouldn't you love to know what they were discussing over the PB&J?

Three little blondes, all in a row....

After eating and doing a little shopping, we told our friends good-bye.

What great little buddies....
And finally, a picture of us....all of the hours we have spent together and so few pictures of us! I guess we just now have children old enough to use a camera to take a picture of us- that's why!!
Thanks, Milams!! We always love to see you guys and you were such great hosts/hostesses. We can't wait for you to come see us! O is already making plans for taking Z fishing!
