Today one of O's classmates had a fun birthday party.....It was at the park where they painted their own kites and flew them. The weather was perfect! It was a little cold, but it was nice and windy. O loved painting her kite....pink flowers with yellow polka dots, of course!
O and Jackson, the birthday boy. They have been in preschool together the last two years and are great little buddies. Jackson's parents went to college with Paul and me, so it is neat to see our children become friends, too.

We did get this kite to fly, too!! It flew really well, but it took both of us holding the string, so I wasn't able to get a picture of that part. It was such a fun party- it was great to hear the kids get so excited to see their kites in the sky!
