After the big duck hunt, everyone returned to Monticello where I was with the twins at Gran Bet and Gramps' house. The girls laid down and slept for over 3 hours- we had to wake them so they would be able to sleep that night!!
Gramps grilled hamburgers for us and we celebrated all of the kids' birthdays- half birthdays. ALL of them have summer birthdays so they all recently turned 1 1/2, 3 1/2, 4 1/2, 6 1/2 and 10 1/2. Hence the need for celebration......
Look at these two sharing a stool, waiting for the party to begin. I love it.
The two duck hunters attempted to show AK how to be a diva...sunglasses and all.
After the party, it was time for a little bike riding. Poor Gramps....WP was determined he was going to ride the bike across the grass and his feet don't even touch the pedals!

AK was a little easier- at least she would agree to be pushed on pavement.
And the finale, as usual....there is always a show on the rock wall of Gramps' office. I love it that the babies think they are old enough to be a part of the show. It won't be long until they are standing on that wall singing their hearts out with the others.
