Aunt Nette and Uncle David stopped by today to visit and give a few haircuts, too. The babies were napping and O's hair needed a trim, so she was first. I could tell she felt so big!
The babies napped for longed than usual, so Aunt Nette and O helped me make some Valentine cupcakes while we waited for them to wake up. Icing, sprinkles and sugar crystals.....
AK was the first to wake up. We put her in the booster seat, gave her a cupcake and Nette went to town......Well, not really. This really didn't qualify as "first haircut"- AK doesn't have enough hair. She just got a tiny trim. Hopefully she will be ready for the "real" haircut soon!
Next, WP woke up from his nap- and he needed a haircut in the worst way! We took him straight from his crib to the chair and it took him a little while to wake up, so it worked great. He was so still and when he started getting restless, we pulled out a cupcake for him and he didn't move! Here is the before- you can see how long his hair was in the back!
Sweet baby! It made me sad to cut off his curls.
