O came home from "Camp Nan & Pop" this afternoon with lots to tell and show us. She had gone swimming twice (she said, "Mommy, that means 2 times"). They took a shopping trip to a jewelry store where she got the little bracelets and they also went to a children's clothing boutique where she got to pick out her own new dress (the one she is proudly wearing).
This is the sparkly pink barrette she won at Chuck E. Cheese with 20 tickets. She has worn it 3 days straight. This girl loves some bling-bling!
This is a picture she colored for me while she was gone. Awww....Some friend of Paul's from med school hosted a nice dinner/reception tonight to honor Paul and some others who have recently finished their training. We had fun seeing some old friends who have been away for training and have moved back to practice here. We also got to meet some people that Paul will be seeing quite often. Sorry no pictures....all I have is this one we took before we left.

It was really neat to meet one couple....as we talked we realized that the wife was a neonatologist at ACH. When she said her name, it clicked with Paul that almost 4 years ago to the day, she was the neonatologist that had taken care of O in the NICU at ACH. At that time, we were two brand new parents with a baby facing surgery as a 3 day old infant. Talk about scary! She took us under her wing and was wonderful! Now Paul will be working with her husband. Isn't that neat? We never really had a chance to thank her and so we did. It is amazing how God puts certain people in your life at certain times.......Small world!
